All Algordanza Memorial Diamonds are created, engraved, and controlled in Switzerland. Our Swiss laboratory is also open for visits.
Step 1: Receiving Ashes, Hair, or Personal Item
Once we receive your loved one’s ashes, hair, or personal items, they are carefully marked and checked to ensure accuracy.
Step 2: Carbon Preparation
We extract carbon from the ashes, hair, or personal items through a specialised chemical and physical process.
Step 3: Graphite Transformation
The extracted carbon is then transformed into graphite, which forms the base for the diamond transformation.
Step 4: Synthesis – Cut and Polish
A specially developed machine housing HPHT technology produces the diamond. The period of growth depends on the diamond size required. It is then cut and polished to its desired state.
Step 5: Quality Control and Certification
We conduct stringent quality control to ensure the diamond’s authenticity, weight, cut, and colour. Algordanza issues a certificate of origin, confirming the diamond’s creation from the ashes, hair, or personal item you provided.
